The Leica ScanStation P20 is an ultra-high speed laser scanner that delivers increased detail and 3D point quality reliably, as well as outstanding capabilities which include an industry first "Check & Adjust" feature. This new capability allows users to check the accuracy of their instrument and easily adjust themselves to make sure the best performance levels are achieved without the need to send to the service centre.

Using time-of-flight measurements which are enhanced by new WFD (Waveform Digitising) technology, the Leica P20 is able to measure up to 1 million points per second with the use of a class 2 laser. It dramatically reduces field time and increases ROI by converting real world environments into digital 3D point clouds quickly and with many reduced setups.

With and IP54 (Ingress Protection) rating and operating temperature of -20°C to +50°C the Leica P20 ScanStation has the ability to work in extreme and harsh conditions which minimises downtime and makes it ideal for working in the field and tough environments.

• Easy to understand Interface
  Intuitive graphical menus with easy to use on-board set-up applications minimise office work.

• Control Remotely
  Integrated wi-fi allows the P20 to be controlled with a Leica CS10 or CS15 field controller, or even an iPad, iPhone or Smartphone which is very useful when the scanner is placed in a restricted environment.

• Increased Flexibility
  Built in data storage allows the Leica ScanStation to be totally mobile. Data is downloaded simply with the use of a USB device and swappable batteries provide it with continuous operation.

• Hi-Res Camera
  Increased resolution images from the built in camera produce pictures which can be used alongside point clouds to aid with interpretation and documentation.

Workflow Solutions:

• 1 – Creating Point Clouds
  3D point clouds are created with the press of a single button. On board routines can register and geo-reference scans automatically.

• 2 – Modelling
  Import the 3d Point Cloud data in to modelling software such as Leica Cyclone, CloudWorx to convert it to a model ready for delivery.

• 3 - Final Creation
  Stakeholders can receive deliverable such as 2D plans, fully rendered 3D models, and also Point Clouds as scan data files creating a complete and flexible workflow.
